NIE B.Ed. ICT Degree Course
Bachelor of Education, Information Technology Degree was commenced in 2009/2010 academic year. It is conducted at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and it is not conducted at NIE regional centers. The course duration is three years, part time.
There were 28 students in the first batch, 2010/2011. At present 64 students have registered for the 2011/2012 batch. If you are an ICT teacher without a degree in ICT it is best that you enroll on this course.
If you have a degree in different subjects and teach ICT, you may avail yourself of the opportunity to enroll on the Post Graduate Diploma in ICT course. This course is expected commence in the near future. The duration of the PGDE ICT course is 2 years - part time.
